General Information

Instrument specifications:  I will bring to your occasion either the 47 string natural tone or 46 string partially gilded pedal harp. Both are considered full size concert harps.

Volume:  Although the harp produces a relatively subtle, soft soothing sound, the instrument does project well. However, at a large venue or function lacking acoustics, I can arrange for amplification for an additional fee.  

 

Set up:  Together with bench and music stand, I will need a flat 5 foot X 7 foot surface that can safely support 250 pounds.  I will arrive 45 minutes before the start of the event, allowing time to set up and tune 46-47 strings. As of July 2022, I no longer perform at outdoor venues. 

 

Deposit and payment:  A signed contract and non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date. Forms of payment include Venmo, Zelle, check, cash or money order. Credit card is possible with surcharge. The balance is due either before or at the event depending on the function.

 

Rates:  The base rate for my services start at $300 ($400 for weddings), but is negotiable for special causes.  There are additional fees for distance, moving challenges (no elevators and ramps), and special requests.  If I cannot accommodate your event and needs, I can refer you to other qualified harpists.
